Experience

Over the past 20 years, Alicia has worked in several private clinics and Bellevue Hospital in New York but then started her private practice providing counseling services for individuals and couples in love. However, she learned her biggest lessons not from the studies or training, but from her own relationships. After a painful divorce when she was almost 30 years old, Alicia no longer believed in happy love stories. But now, two decades later, she actually thinks differently.

Education

Alicia graduated from McGill University with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and then earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology at New York University. She also has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, Imago Therapy, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy. 

Interests

Family always comes first for Alicia, so she spends a lot of time with the people she loves. Moreover, Alicia tries to lead an active lifestyle and spend more time outside. In addition, she enjoys reading and can speak 4 languages – Spanish, German, Italian, and French.
